Mahdis Madani, an investigative journalist, has been working with World of Travel since 2015. She has an M.A. degree in Tourism Development Planning. During her employment with the news agency, she has written series analytical articles in field of tourism sustainable development, tourism and poverty reduction, tourism and women’s wellbeing, and tourism and rural development.
Madani began her journalism career as a weekly columnist at the world of Economy newspaper, where she wrote about tourism sustainable management and development. In 2013, she started her voluntary work with environmental NGOs, an experience that formed her professional career in environmental education and empowerment projects. During her tenure at Tanin Tabiat Tirgan Institute, she has taken part in different empowerment projects in corporation with national and international organizations.
